ProScout gal is new Victoria’s Secret “Angel”

(New York)  At age 23, another ProScout discovery is living her dream after receiving one of modeling’s highest honors last week – a three year contract as an official Victoria’s Secret “Angel”.  Lindsay Ellingson is already known as a star of the global runways, she’s walked for over 50 major fashion  designers.  Her new ”Angel” contract makes her membership into the world of Supermodels rather official.

Lindsay has already become a veteran of the world’s most shimmery runway, having walked for the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show a few times before.

With a handful of VS’s current starlets expecting mini-angels this winter the company was eager to find some more statuesque beauties who are just as comfortable and look just as stunning in their underwear! Enter… Lindsay Ellingson. Since she was first discovered at a ProScout Orange County event, California’s very own, Ellingson, has had her world rocked in a fabulous way.

Ever since her initial discovery Lindsay has has skyrocketed toward success in a great way. The former captain of her high school dance team made her mega-debut walking for Christian Dior, Lanvin and John Galliano, quickly followed by Chanel, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, oh, and not to mention huge campaigns with both Moschino and Tommy Hilfiger. Within months of landing an agent, Lindsay was fighting neck and neck with another model for the Christian Dior campaign…you may have heard of her competition…none other than top model Gisele Bundchen. It turns out that Bundchen secured the contract, but there wasn’t even time to dwell before Ellingson landed her very own Charles David fall campaign, was on the cover of Japanese Marie Claire, and was starring in Mario Testino’s British Vogue editorial.

With a handful of experience under her belt, Lindsay began her second year of modeling with more confidence and was ready to rock her very own cover of Vogue, not to mention two campaigns for both Dolce & Gabbana and DKNY. Not too shabby for a newbie in this highly-competitive industry!

Ever since, she has accumulated an unheard of amount of success from all statures of the business. The runway divisions love her, the print world adores her, Lindsay has officially reached “it girl” status. Not many models reach this level of success, ever, let alone in such a short amount of time.

Ellingson has since become a must-have for top designers including Oscar de la Renta, Lacoste, Rock & Republic, Gucci, blumarine, Michael Kohrs and has even been named the sole face of Tommy Hilfiger.

Earning a Victoria’s Secret contract will not only earn an aspiring model major bragging rights and an “established” title in the industry, but also is a ticket to the big bucks. Forbes has officially declared being an Angel as a major staple that separates its “highest paid supermodels” from the other girls.
