Nate Parker

Imagine scoring a major movie role alongside acting legends Denzel Washington and Forrest Whitaker (in The Great Debaters). Then Oprah invites you on the show. Next thing you know, you’re working with Grammy winner Alicia Keys. That’s exactly what Nate, a computer-programmer-turned-actor from Oklahoma, did after meeting ProScout. One of 2007’s breakout stars, Nate’s newest projects are “Secret Life of Bees” (with Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson), and “Blood Done Sign My Name” (with Rick Schroeder). He also received rave reviews for his performance in “Pride” with Terrance Howard and Bernie Mac.
