America’s Real Top Model: Hilary Rhoda from Maryland
America’s next top model? Forget the show, the real winner is ProScout’s Hilary Rhoda (from Chevy Chase, Maryland). This blue-eyed brunette has all the proof necessary; including top rankings from Vogue, Sports Illustrated, even Forbes magazine ranks her a global earnings leader. Hilary is also the new multimillion dollar face of Estee Lauder. ”It’s all pretty amazing,” she said from a photo shoot location in Asia.

Hilary Rhoda, America's real top model. Forbes magazine ranks her as the nation's top dollar earner.
Hilary’s life might be described in three parts. Part 1) Life before ProScout, when she attended the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington where she was an avid lacrosse player. It was when she was a sophomore that she and her mom happened to hear a ProScout scouting commercial on the car radio. Marianne Rhoda (mom) said they should drop by ProScout at the Hilton Washington, but the teenager wasn’t interested at first: “Don’t even think about it.” Mom prevailed, agents swooned, and soon the lacrosse and field hockey star was modeling during school breaks — and loving it.
Part 2) Rhoda was signed by Click Models first, who opened the door to Ralph Lauren, Glamour magazine, Bruce Weber and Abercrombie… when she turned 18 she switched to IMG to try her hand at branding herself, the ultimate modeling goal. It is acknowledged that Nicolas Ghesquiere from Balenciaga plucked her from her obscurity to begin the chain reaction that created the top dollar grossing model in America today. Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel… all luminaries appear on her impressive resume.
Part 3) Today, she has settled in for the Supermodel stretch…. A-list campaigns, A-List shows, A-List endorsements. Oh, did we forget the Swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated? Her segment of the SI video shot on location is unforgettable. We have the video below, so take a peek.
Good luck Hilary – we’re glad mom dragged you to our scouting call. Sometimes, Mom knows best.

So what she has a million dollar contract? I don’t give a crap about her “big deal”.. who cares.. my life before 5 in the afternoon is more interesting than hers… and after that.. “it’s all pretty amazing” too…. so, go screw yourself Hilary..I can wipe my nose with that contract….

Easy with yourself…why are you so angry??? I think it’s “pretty amazing”! She is one of those models that has made it big… yet doesn’t have to be in the spot light.

If you don’t care then why take the time to blog on here? Good for her for making her dreams come true. If anything it should inspire people like us that want to be a part of this industry! Sounds like you’re jealous…

Anger is not my thing… I’ll admit, it’s interesting to watch how their lives turn over night into something very pleasantly unexpected.. but making it big; is that the whole concept of modeling and what it’s all about? Don’t people have more value in life than money? What’s so inspiring? her contract? I guess dreams came true for her… fascinating to see it can really happen… maybe my comment was a bit harsh. sorry Hilary, at the end, I guess I envied. Good thing mom dragged you to see those scouts. For everyone else – stand up for yourselves, know who you are… and for me, I’ll let others be jealous.
